Invest in Basse-Ham on the NAUTIC’HAM leisure centre

The Communauté d’Agglomération Portes de France Thionville (CAPFT) has entrusted the local public company SPL MOSELLE NORD PLAISANCE with running, managing, maintaining and operating the marina, its annexes and the camp-site and caravan park under a contract dated the 1st of August 2017 for a period of 11 years.

Nautic’Ham is:

• over 15 events throughout the summer season plus around ten concerts on weekends in July and August with an average attendance of between 300 and 3,500 people depending on the event.

• a marina (100 pleasure boaters per year), a camp-site (more than 2,000 customers), water sports activities (sailing, rowing, paddle-boarding, canoeing, and electric boat hire), the all-new Basse-Ham HAMELYS aquatic centre, two car parks with a total capacity of 600 parking spaces, as well as the Thionville Rive Droite golf course (two 9-hole courses), which is only 5 minutes away

Attendance: over 17,000 visitors.

The Nautic’Ham leisure park welcomes hikers, pleasure boaters and campers. It is located:

• on the doorstep of the Luxembourg and German borders,
• close to two ZACS (mixed urban development areas) located in the municipality of Basse-Ham,
• in a lush green setting: it beckons with its tranquillity, its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the proximity of its diverse services.

It is also served by the cycle track (vélo route: voie bleue) that links Thionville to Luxembourg.

PROJECT FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE ELECTRIC BOAT HIRE BASE:

• come and complete the boat hire offer, by expanding the fleet and proposing new offers for this activity (children’s birthdays, bachelor /
  hen parties, cocktails on the boats, etc…) and a new snacking concept.

PROJECT TO ERECT ACCOMMODATION FOR HIKERS AND CYCLISTS ON THE CAMP-SITE:

• come and develop the camp-site’s offering while preserving its countryside spirit and cater for the tourists who use the cycle path that passes through the site.

SECONDARY SALES PROJECT FOR ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS FOR CAMP-SITE GUESTS:

• NAUTIC’HAM is looking for a skilled craft person with the MOSL quality label for eco-friendly products such as (hygiene/body care kit: soap, toothbrush kit, solid shampoo etc…).

CATERING / GUINGUETTE PROJECT:

• NAUTIC’HAM is looking for an investor to set up and develop the catering services on the site on a seasonal or annual basis

HIPYARD AND CHANDLERY SHOP: BOAT HAM

• Boating business in partnership with Big Ship.
• Marine mechanics.
• Boat storage and wintering.
•  Upholstery and canvas work.
• Open all year round.

MARINA: NAUTIC’HAM

•  Marina with 100 berths (100% occupancy rate).
•  A river stopover area at the entrance to the marina with 8 berths to accommodate passing boats for overnight stays. Over 150 boats in one season.

MARINA CAMP-SITE

•  78 pitches for motor homes, caravans and tents.
•  Washroom facilities and showers.
•  Over 2,000 campers throughout the season.
•  Open from the 1st May to 30th September.

CERCLE NAUTICAL CLUB

It comprises 2 Associations:

• le CAP250: sailing club, initiation, paddle-board hire and other nautical activities,
• la Yole Hamoise: rowing club, initiation and regatta.

ELECTRIC BOAT HIRE

• Hourly rental of electric boats for 4 to 6 people.
• Rental of pedal boats

ESPLANADE WITH CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND

•  It is used to host all the season’s events which can welcome between 1,000 and 6,000 people each weekend.
• Events every weekend in July and August.

BAR / SNACK BAR

•  Local drinks available for refreshment.
•  Catering available from the snack bar.
• Open from the 1st May to 30th September.

GUINGUETTE RESTAURANT

•  Catering available on site.
•  Refreshments available in the lounge area.
•  Entertainment on weeknights.

INFLATABLE PLAYGROUND

•  A playground covering 1,500 m² with inflatable structures.
•  Sweet snacks available.
•  Open from the 1st May to 30th September.

HAMELYS COMMUNITY AQUATIC CENTRE

• Swimming complex with 3 pools measuring 25 m, 2 of which are indoor and 1 outdoor.
• Fitness area: gymnasium and room for group classes.
• A racer water slide and 2 indoor slides.
• A wellness area.
• Open all year round.
• Approximately 200 visits per day since the opening

 CAR PARKS

•  2 car parks with a total of 600 spaces.
•  1 car park with 80 spaces.

NUMEROUS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR:

• 15 concerts organised on the esplanade in July and August.
• 10 Events organised on site including some big events, such as: “La Fête de L’eau” water festival: 6,000 people over the course of the weekend, classic car rally: 1,000 people and 500 cars over the course of the day, Bulky Games: 3,200 participants and 1,000 visitors over the course of the day.
